E-commerce Growth Manager

Fully Remote (South Africa & Latin America ONLY)

Working Hours: Monday to Friday 8:00 AM 5:00 PM PST (must have at least 6 hours of overlap with PST)

Salary: $2500 $3000 USD/month (depending on experience)

Contract Type: Independent Contractor

Our brand represents the intersection of high‑tech materials and artisanal craftsmanship offering everything from custom high‑performance surfboards to specialized gear accessories and apparel.

Role Summary

We are seeking a versatile E-commerce Growth Manager to take full ownership of our online business. This is a high‑autonomy role designed for a seasoned professional who can manage the entire digital ecosystem from finalizing our web presence to scaling profitable ad campaigns. You will be the primary driver of our digital revenue responsible for bridging the gap between our premium physical products and a world‑class online shopping experience. We value results over micromanagement; you will have the freedom to lead strategy as long as you hit your growth targets.

Key Responsibilities
  • Shopify & Website Ownership: Complete and optimize the Shopify site build including themes content product pages and overall UX (no custom coding).
  • Paid Ads Management: Launch manage optimize and scale Meta (Facebook/Instagram) and Google Ads with a strong focus on profitability.
  • Email Marketing & Retention: Build and manage newsletters flows and campaigns to grow revenue and repeat purchases.
  • Customer Experience: Handle customer service emails with a high standard of professionalism and brand tone.
  • Content & Creative Direction: Plan photoshoots write high‑converting copy and manage basic photo/video editing.
  • Performance & Analytics: Track revenue ROAS CAC LTV and email performance using Google Analytics and ad platforms.
  • Autonomous Growth: Identify opportunities test ideas and execute without micromanagement.
Must-Have Qualifications
  • 4 years of e‑commerce marketing experience with clear revenue growth results
  • Expert‑level Meta Ads experience able to build optimize and scale profitably
  • Shopify experience
  • Strong Google Ads knowledge with hands‑on optimization experience
  • Email marketing expertise (Klaviyo or similar platforms)
  • Strong copywriting and content creation skills (basic photo/video editing)
  • Data‑driven mindset with deep Google Analytics usage
  • Self‑starter attitude comfortable with ambiguity and full ownership
  • Excellent English communication skills (native‑level)
  • Availability during PST business hours
Highly Valuable (Nice‑to‑Haves)
  • Experience in surf skate action sports or lifestyle brands
  • TikTok organic growth experience
  • Experience selling high‑ticket products ($500$2000)
  • Strong understanding of DTC brand building
  • Basic design skills (Canva Figma)
