Key Responsibilities
  • Advise and consult with industry business leaders and sales leaders to develop a global industry marketing strategy designed to achieve growth targets.
  • Works with business leaders and regions on strategic accounts and account segmentation for marketing programs (incl. awareness, demand gen and ABM).
  • Work with industry business leaders, portfolio and BFA leaders, on value prop (brand messaging and points of differentiation) development and interact with global practices, regional teams and ABM teams to ensure value props are understood, relevant for clients and fit for purpose.
  • Analyze market trends, customer insights, and competitive landscape to refine industry-focused campaigns.
  • Act as the single point of contact into Global Marketing Communications Headquarters (NTT DATA Group Corp) to ensure alignment with industry marketing globally – especially on global industry events and for executive engagement opportunities.
  • Create industry thought leadership, content and case studies, working closely with global marketing and regions on verticalizing global campaigns.
  • Partner with the regional ABM teams to create account-specific messaging and industry-focused content for high-value accounts to drive growth.
  • Develop demand gen programs to meet various business targets (new buyer group expansion, new logo, etc.).
  • Work with Analyst Relations, Public Relations and Alliance teams to enhance and promote market leadership, highlight business leaders as experts in their field, document client success stories.
  • Proactively communicate and collaborate with business stakeholders and Marketing team members to maximize information-sharing and drive positive results.
  • Work with global sales enablement teams on upskilling and educating sales.
  • Identify new marketing opportunities through industry research and news monitoring, and participation in industry and / or marketing organizations and events in collaboration with regional marketing
  • Manage and adhere to budget, maintain vendor and agency relationships, and oversee related contracts and payments.
Knowledge and Attributes
  • Understanding of the respective sector’s industries, including broader issues and client pain points.
  • Knowledge of marketing-related business practices, including ABM, demand gen, external communications, events, market research and digital marketing technology and tools.
  • Demonstrated history of planning successful integrated marketing programs and events.
  • Effective communication and influencing skills and adaptable communication style for interacting with business leaders, team members and clients.
  • Strong project management and organization skills to plan and execute marketing initiatives and juggle competing priorities.
  • Demonstrated ability to work in a matrixed global environment.
  • Demonstrate commercial acumen and an understanding of NTT DATA’s strategy and business model, including the levers that make the company commercially successful.
  • Has a collaborative style and builds relationships across teams to achieve objectives. Can give and receive feedback to improve team performance. Takes a customer-centric view, bringing together the whole of NTT DATA for the benefit of the customer.
  • Has the ability to communicate with impact and influence stakeholders at all levels in the organization. Manages own energy levels, demonstrates empathy and uses active listening to quickly build rapport.

Academic Qualifications and Certifications
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent in marketing, business, communications, or a related field.
  • Certifications in ABM, digital marketing, or relevant IT domains can provide a competitive advantage.
Required experience
  • Minimum of 5 years of relevant industry marketing experience or experience working within the industry sector.
  • Minimum of 10 years of relevant marketing experience with demonstrated ability to independently drive marketing programs.
