About the job Digital Content Strategist

Key purpose:

The role will be content creator that will work within the Digital Marketing team and will be expected to have a love for writing along with a passion for digital marketing, content marketing and conceptualizing content strategies.

Duties and responsibilities:

  • Developing content strategies across several different websites and blogs.
  • Managing the schedules and deadlines of internal as well as external correspondence content creators and writers.
  • Creating compelling, engaging content for websites and blogs.
  • Create and manage an editorial calendar and ensure the timely publication of its contents.
  • Proofread and edit written content pieces before they are published.
  • Conduct keyword and SEO research to ensure that content aligns with customer needs.
  • Co-ordinate with Design and Multimedia to ensure that content pieces are properly illustrated.
  • Monitor and report on web traffic as well as engagements.
  • Conduct regular reviews of published evergreen content and update as needed.
  • Plans, executes, and measures experiments and conversion tests meeting ROI and KPIs.

Qualifications and experience:

  • Diploma/Degree in Digital Marketing or relevant field
  • Valid Driver's License
  • 2 - 3 years' experience in Content Marketing, Blog Management and marketing, Digital Strategies
  • 2 - 3 years' experience in Content Creation and planning
  • SEO and Google Adwords experience
  • Ad agency experience highly advantageous
