About the Role

As a Deployment Engineer you will be part of our client deployment team, responsible for guaranteeing a smooth delivery of our solutions and supporting our clients. The role is located in Johannesburg.

Responsibilities

• Plan, prepare and set up lab, test and production environments for client and partnership deployments.
• Install and configure cloud‑native solutions using Kubernetes.
• Focus on technical deployment and identify ways to speed up automation processes.
• Maintain, monitor, administer and update current deployments, ensuring the stability of solutions.
• Provide 2nd‑level support, error analysis and classification during incident management.
• Coordinate customer requests and disseminate client information.
• Unlock operational efficiency in deployment and support procedures.

Qualifications

• Experience with Linux machines (setup, admin, operation).
• Experience with complex networking infrastructures including routing, switching, firewalls and load‑balancing techniques.
• Knowledge of telecommunications systems (4G, 5G, IMS).
• Hands‑on Kubernetes administration.
• Debugging and tracing skills (Wireshark).
• Fluency in English.
• Nice to have: understanding of virtualization and cloud computing, knowledge of signaling standards and protocols such as SIP and Diameter, worked with public cloud like AWS and GCP.
