Job summary

A leading insurance provider seeks a motivated telesales professional to join their sales call centre in Kariega, Eastern Cape. The candidate will be responsible for driving Life Sales, conducting financial needs analysis, and maintaining high communication standards with members. Applicants should possess at least a matric qualification, sales experience, and excellent skills in English or Afrikaans. This role offers the opportunity to thrive in a target-driven environment.

Qualifications

  • At least 1 year sales experience, preferably in an outbound telesales environment.
  • Minimum 1 year Life product knowledge, Discovery Life Knowledge is an advantage.

  • Identifying sales opportunities.
  • Answering inbound calls and making required outbound calls.
  • Co-ordination of own administration.
  • Communicating to members telephonically via fax and email.

Key purpose

This position is based in the Discovery Connect Sales call centre, and reports to the sales team leader. The successful individual will be required to conduct Discovery Life telesales.

Key Outputs

The successful individual will be required to perform on, but not limited to the following key outputs:

  • Achieve Life Sales target
  • Communication to members telephonically via fax and email
  • Attending to general administration
  • Conduct Financial Needs Analysis
