Job summary

A leading supply chain company is seeking a Customer Executive - Logistics / Food Services in Durban or Johannesburg. This role requires a candidate who will drive the Food Services Channel through effective customer insights and relationship management. Ideal candidates will have a Post Graduate degree in Supply Chain or Sales and Marketing and significant experience in managing key customer relationships in the FMCG sector.

Qualifications

  • 10 years' experience in a marketing and sales function that includes managing complex customer relationships and Key/National accounts.
  • At least 5 years in a management role within the FMCG/Logistics and Distribution sectors.

Our client, a market leader in the Supply Chain industry, is looking to hire a Customer Executive - Logistics / Food Services to be based either in Durban or Johannesburg.

Purpose of the Role

Effectively drive the Food Services Channel of the organisation through focused customer insights and strategy, ensuring effective accounts management and professional customer relationship management that achieve Customer and Channel objectives, KPIs, and targets. In addition, develop business relationships and grow the Food Services Channel by contracting new customers and expanding volumes / products with existing customers.
