Looking for Cost Accountant in Boksburg.

Company Description

Wada Group is a top slurry pump manufacturer in South Africa, specializing in providing slurry pump solutions and offering a wide range of slurry pumps and spares. With over 200M Rand in slurry pump and spares stocks, Wada Group aims to reduce downtime and save plant costs for its clients.

Requirements:

  1. At least 5 years of accountant work experience in the manufacturing industry.
  2. Strong skills in Pastel Accounting: SAGE Evolution.
  3. Good at costing and inventory management.
  4. Age 35 to 40.

Responsibilities:

  1. Management Reporting
  2. Provide monthly and yearly management reports to the management.
  3. Profit ratio and COS ratio analysis.
  4. Staff KPI and commission calculations.
  5. Setting up annual and monthly budgets with management.

Financial Management

  1. Manage internal controls and systems (Pastel Evolution).
  2. Oversee the accounting functions including debtors, creditors, stock control, and banking/cash.
  3. Manage cash flows and cash forecasts.
  4. Supervise stock counts.
  5. Perform VAT reconciliations to identify VAT variances for the year.
  6. Calculate product costs and load them into the accounting system.
  7. Check daily debtor income allocations and supplier payment allocations.
  8. Process stock adjustments.
  9. Ensure company secretarial submissions are up to date.

TAXATION

  1. Submit VAT returns (VAT201) using SARS eFiling.
  2. Payroll administration using Pastel Payroll; submit EMP201 returns via SARS eFiling.
  3. Calculate and submit Workman's Compensation to the Department of Labor and SA State.
  4. Submit EMP501 and IRP5 using EasyFile.
  5. Manage management accounts.
  6. Submit provisional tax for the company.
  7. Submit company and personal tax returns.
  8. Liaise with SARS regarding audit queries.

Annual Audit

  1. Finalize audit files.
  2. Prepare financial statements using CaseWare and conduct audit reviews.
  3. Liaise with company auditors.
  4. Ensure all necessary documentation (COIDA, TCC PIN, BBBEE certificate) is available for submission.
