A legal support firm in Randburg is seeking a Conveyancing Secretary to provide high-level administrative and legal support to a Conveyancing Attorney. The role involves managing property transfer matters efficiently, including private and government-sponsored transfers, with a focus on compliance and document management. Candidates must have Matric, ideally hold a Conveyancing Secretary Certificate, and have at least 3-5 years' experience in a law firm with proficiency in conveyancing software. 1. Job Purpose
To provide high-level administrative and legal support to a Conveyancing Attorney, ensuring that all property transfer matters including private, commercial, and government-sponsored transfers (with particular emphasis on Human Settlements matters) are handled efficiently, accurately, and within prescribed legal and statutory timeframes, from initial instruction to final registration.
Education: Matric is essential; a Conveyancing Secretary Certificate or Paralegal Diploma will be a distinct advantage.
Experience: A minimum of 35 years experience within a law firms conveyancing department, with demonstrable experience handling high-volume transfers, including government and Human Settlements property transfers. Proficiency in conveyancing software such as GhostConvey, LexisConvey, WinDeed, or similar systems is required.
