A leading global corporation is seeking a Construction Manager to oversee construction services on projects, including tenant improvements and new builds. This office-based role involves managing design and construction projects from inception to operational turnover, collaborating closely with stakeholders to drive project objectives within budget and timeline. The ideal candidate should have a relevant degree and significant experience in construction management.
The Global Real Estate and Facilities (GREF) team provides real estate transaction expertise, business partnering, space & occupancy planning, design and construction, capital investment program management and facility maintenance and operations for Amazon’s corporate real estate portfolio across multiple countries. We partner with suppliers to ensure quality, innovation and operational excellence with Amazon’s business and utilize customer driven feedback to continuously improve and exceed employee expectations.
GREF’s Workplace Design and Construction team is looking for a Construction Manager to drive construction services on projects, including tenant improvements, new builds, expansions, and renovations of Amazon corporate facilities. You will be responsible for delivery of projects from outset of design through operational turnover, operating on both strategic and tactical levels as a visionary, internal ambassador, educator, analyst, solutions architect, and implementer. You will collaborate with leadership and other stakeholders to set a budget and schedule, then drive project objectives, scope, space allocation, cost, prioritization and sequencing of requests within set parameters, building strong project teams that excel through collaboration. You will manage contractor performance to ensure timely completion, adherence to cost requirements, organizational standards and other requirements and regulations.
