Due to aggressive expansion, we are seeking a hands-on, results-driven Construction Director to take full ownership of our operational pipeline and financial performance. Key ResponsibilitiesOperational Oversight & Efficiency
  • Full P&L Responsibility: Directly manage the budget, resource allocation, and profitability for the entire construction division.
  • Process Optimization: Standardize and streamline project delivery processes, from planning and scheduling to final sign-off, focusing on lean construction principles.
  • Fleet & Resource Management: Oversee the procurement, maintenance, and strategic deployment of heavy plant, equipment, and labor resources across the region.
Client Relations & Business Development
  • Contract Management: Lead negotiations and manage relationships with key municipal clients, sub-contractors, and suppliers to ensure beneficial partnership terms.
  • Quality & Safety: Enforce the company's zero-incident safety culture and quality control protocols across all sites, ensuring compliance with local codes and standards.
  • Pre-Construction Input: Work closely with the estimating and engineering teams to ensure tender submissions are technically viable, highly competitive, and profitable.
Qualifications & Requirements
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or Construction Management.
  • Experience: 10+ years of operational experience in civil or heavy construction, with demonstrable success in a senior management role overseeing multiple projects concurrently (ideally in the utilities/road sector).
  • Local Knowledge: Deep familiarity with local permitting processes, environmental regulations, and regional sub-contractor networks in [Specific State/Region] is highly desirable.
