Job Title:

Communications and Marketing Assistant

About the Role:

We are seeking a suitable candidate to assist our current communications and marketing team to provide administrative support for our existing and new business modules.

The candidate is required to have exceptional communication skills and strong attention to detail. If you also have administrative skills and experience working with spreadsheets, then we would like to meet you.

The main goal is to help ensure that our company’s key messages are communicated well to all leaseholders, Board members and property managers. This role will support the development and execution of marketing strategies and assist in enhancing our brand visibility and client engagement in the property management sector.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in developing marketing materials, including brochures, presentations, social media posts and content templates.
  • Collaborate with different departments and assist our communications and marketing team to create and implement a comprehensive marketing strategy.
  • Conduct research and data analysis to identify new marketing opportunities.
  • Write compelling content for various departments, including emails, to market and promote their services to leaseholders.
  • Assist in organising and participating in industry events, conferences, and webinars to highlight our expertise and network with potential clients.
  • Develop good understanding of client needs and facilitate client engagement.

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Relevant qualification in Marketing, Communications, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 3 to 5 years of experience in a marketing role. Experience in property management or real estate will be a plus.
  • Strong interpersonal and written communication skills.
  • Experience in data analysis, determining patterns and trends.
  • Basic understanding of different media platforms, digital marketing tools, including social media platforms.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
  • Creative thinking and willingness to learn.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and an interest to learn our various CRM systems.
  • Knowledge of client management principles and customer relationship management is advantageous.

Benefits:

  • Salary: R17 000pm DOE
  • Hours: 9am to 6pm SA time (with a 60-minute break), Monday to Friday
  • 15 days of annual leave plus Public Holidays

Applicants must be based in the Cape Town/Winelands area or nearby, with the ability to attend occasional in-person meetings in Stellenbosch. A stable internet connection is essential, particularly during load shedding.
