About the job: Commercial Finance Manager

Minimum Requirements:
  • Matric (Grade 12)
  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent
  • 7 to 10 years of FP&A or business partnering experience
  • Data-savvy, strong SAP knowledge with a minimum of 3 years practical experience
  • Business partnering skills, influencing, learning agility, transparency, and ethical conduct
  • Fluent in English due to international exposure
Responsibilities:
  • Business partnering:
  • Manage reporting and approval processes for commercial projects and monthly reports
  • Support the creation of business opportunities using business cases to support Profit Plans and annual targets
  • Maintain effective cross-functional relationships between Finance, Sales, Marketing, Supply Chain, and Customer Service
  • Conduct project pricing analysis, including profitability, benchmarking, cost savings, and competitive assessments
  • Perform quarterly and annual analysis comparing accounts' P&L against pricing conditions and market trends to evaluate profitability impact
  • Manage commercial relationships proactively and support partnership development
  • Build strong relationships with country leadership teams
  • Support the country's performance towards profitable growth
  • Provide real-time financial guidance and insights for better business decision-making
  • Support decisions on commercial deals, pricing, and investments
  • Enhance business and commercial acumen through direct customer and business unit relationships
  • Assess and advise on business and finance risks, communicating impacts effectively
  • Lead or support the development of business cases
  • Analytics:
  • Provide insights into business performance and prepare quality commentaries for monthly reports
  • Support annual profit planning and monthly forecasting with country leadership teams, focusing on margins and profitability analytics
  • Leadership and continuous improvement:
  • Build and lead a strong team to add value to the organization
  • Design financial solutions to business challenges, maintaining governance and controls
  • Improve tools and processes for better business insights
  • Manage stakeholder expectations proactively
  • Lead projects applying business acumen and commercial awareness to achieve objectives
  • Coordinate finance support for ad-hoc projects with country and zone leadership teams
  • Serve as a board member of the local company as needed
