Overview
The Commercial Account Manager will be responsible for driving sales of the Palo Alto Networks Strata Portfolio, including next-generation firewalls, across the commercial sector. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in selling cybersecurity solutions, particularly firewalls, and a deep understanding of the commercial market. This role requires a strategic thinker with strong relationship-building skills and the ability to close deals effectively.
Responsibilities
- Develop and execute a comprehensive sales strategy to drive revenue growth for the Palo Alto Networks Strata Portfolio in the commercial market.
- Identify and target potential clients, building a robust pipeline of opportunities.
- Conduct detailed needs assessments with prospective clients to understand their security requirements.
- Present and demonstrate the Palo Alto Networks Strata Portfolio, highlighting its value proposition and differentiators.
- Negotiate and close sales deals, ensuring the achievement of sales targets and quotas.
- Collaborate with internal teams, including technical pre-sales, marketing, and customer support, to ensure seamless delivery and customer satisfaction.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends, competitive landscape, and advancements in cybersecurity technologies.
- Maintain accurate records of sales activities, customer interactions, and pipeline status in CRM systems.
- Attend industry events, trade shows, and conferences to network and promote the company's offerings.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in selling cybersecurity solutions, with a focus on firewalls, in the commercial space.
- Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets and quotas.
- Strong understanding of the commercial market and its specific cybersecurity needs.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
- Ability to build and maintain strong relationships with clients and partners.
- Self-motivated, proactive, and able to work independently as well as part of a team.
- Proficiency in using CRM software and other sales tools.
- Willingness to travel as needed.
