Assistant Finance Plant Controller
Key Responsibilities
- Month end processing and reporting.
- Forecasting.
- Financial and Commercial Bridges.
- Assist in accounts payable investigations and submitting manual payment requests.
- Processing of petty cash and expense claims.
- Assist with the monthly inter‑company reconciliations.
- Reconcile inter‑company balances and process IC3 forms.
- Prepare AP vouchers in clearing of vendor accounts.
- Responsible for adherence of all BOS and other finance related legal procedures.
- SOX and internal control compliance.
- Perform Balance Sheet Reconciliations.
- Prepare Payroll and Month End Journals.
- Follow up Accounts Receivable invoice receipts.
Qualifications
- Grade 12 / Matric qualification.
- Degree in business administration or adequate professional experience focusing on finance / controlling especially accounting.
- Minimum 3 years in a manufacturing company, preferably in the automotive sector.
- Understanding of Business Operating System (BOS) and compliance with all function‑related BOS requirements.
- Understanding of Environmental, Health & Safety (EHS) requirements and compliance.
- Understanding of Product Safety requirements and compliance.
- Understanding of Compliance requirements.
- Understanding of Information Security and confidentiality of company information requirements.
- Additional Certifications advantageous: Professional Certification / Special Skills, EHS Management System (e.g., EMS, OHSMS).
Additional Roles & Eligibility
- EHS Professionals, EHS Internal Auditor, EHS Critical Roles etc.
- High risk equipment operators and high risk activity personnel.
- Quality Professionals and Quality personnel (e.g., AME, ME, PE).
- Internal auditors (system, process and product auditor).
- BOS Auditor, Process Auditor, Product Auditor.
- Colour / Appearance Evaluation personnel.
- Product Safety knowledge holders (Safety Parts Engineer, Buyer, Operator, Inspector, Advanced Quality Engineer, Supplier Quality Engineer).
