Job Title

Assistant Finance Plant Controller

Key Responsibilities

• Month end processing and reporting.
• Forecasting.
• Financial and Commercial Bridges.
• Assist in accounts payable investigations and submitting manual payment requests.
• Processing of petty cash and expense claims.
• Assist with the monthly inter‑company reconciliations.
• Reconcile inter‑company balances and process IC3 forms.
• Prepare AP vouchers in clearing of vendor accounts.
• Responsible for adherence of all BOS and other finance related legal procedures.
• SOX and internal control compliance.
• Perform Balance Sheet Reconciliations.
• Prepare Payroll and Month End Journals.
• Follow up Accounts Receivable invoice receipts.

Qualifications

• Grade 12 / Matric qualification.
• Degree in business administration or adequate professional experience focusing on finance / controlling especially accounting.
• Minimum 3 years in a manufacturing company, preferably in the automotive sector.
• Understanding of Business Operating System (BOS) and compliance with all function‑related BOS requirements.
• Understanding of Environmental, Health & Safety (EHS) requirements and compliance.
• Understanding of Product Safety requirements and compliance.
• Understanding of Compliance requirements.
• Understanding of Information Security and confidentiality of company information requirements.
• Additional Certifications advantageous: Professional Certification / Special Skills, EHS Management System (e.g., EMS, OHSMS).

Additional Roles & Eligibility

• EHS Professionals, EHS Internal Auditor, EHS Critical Roles etc.
• High risk equipment operators and high risk activity personnel.
• Quality Professionals and Quality personnel (e.g., AME, ME, PE).
