Job Overview

The position of a Financial Director is to lead the entire financial management function.

Financial analysis and production of management accounts will be carried out to ensure accurate decision‑making.

Budgeting and reforecasting processes must be in place for accurate planning and scenario modelling.

Fundamental financial controls and systems need to be implemented, reviewed, and enhanced.

Tax compliance requirements including income tax and VAT need to be managed.

Audit processes externally and ensure governance and regulatory compliance are strong.

Improvements in systems, reporting enhancements, and efficiencies across finance need to be driven.

Prepare financial models and scenario analyses for executive stakeholders.

About the Candidate

Candidate should have CA(SA) with 10+ years of progressive finance experience.

Strong background in strategic financial management and experience in start‑up or high‑growth environments would be advantageous.

Understanding of IFRS, tax requirements, budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning is essential.

Pastel proficiency and Excel skills with exposure to BI tools beneficial.
