Chief Financial Officer (CFO)

Our client, a leading Solar Energies company based in Johannesburg, is seeking an experienced Chief Financial Officer (CFO) to join their executive team. This is a key leadership role that will drive thecompany’s financial strategy, ensuring long-term profitability andsustainability while supporting its growth in the renewable energy sector.

Basic Duties:

• Develop and implementfinancial strategies to support the company's growth and objectives.
  
• Oversee all financialoperations, including budgeting, forecasting, financial reporting, andcash flow management.
  
• Lead financial planningand analysis, providing insight and recommendations to senior leadership.
  
• Ensure compliance withall regulatory requirements, tax laws, and accounting standards.
  
• Manage the company’sfinancial risks and investments.
  
• Supervise and mentor thefinance team to ensure high levels of performance.
  
• Coordinate and leadaudits and liaise with external auditors, investors, and otherstakeholders.
  
• Play a key role instrategic decision-making by providing financial insights to supportbusiness growth.
  

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree inFinance, Accounting, or a related field (Master’s degree or MBA is aplus).
  
• Professionalqualifications such as CA(SA), ACCA, or CIMA preferred.
  
• 10+ years of financialexperience,with a proven track record in senior finance roles, preferably in the renewableenergy, energy, or infrastructure sectors.
  
• Strong understanding offinancial modeling, risk management, and corporate finance.
  
• Knowledge of SouthAfrican financial regulations and tax laws.
  
• Proven leadership skillsand the ability to drive change and influence at the executive level.
