The company is a growing real estate investment and property management firm specializing in multifamily assets, particularly in affordable housing.

Currently managing apartments with plans for expansion into third-party property management.

Work Location

This role is fully remote.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Shape the financial direction of our expanding real estate portfolio, working closely with the founder and stakeholders.
• Oversee financial activities, property management data analysis, budgeting, forecasting, and investor reporting.
• Interpret and communicate financial data to support operational efficiency and investor confidence.
• Develop and oversee financial strategy, budgeting, & forecasting.
• Manage financial reporting, including reconciliation of AppFolio and QuickBooks data.
• Track and analyze financial data related to property management, including cash flow, budgets & expenses.
• Own property-level financial performance, identifying trends & opportunities for cost savings.
• Communicate financial data clearly to internal teams & investors.
• Prepare & present investor reports with accurate & insightful data.
• Maintain effective communication with investors regarding financial performance.
• Serve as financial liaison for property management activities.
• Optimize financial processes to reduce external management reliance.
• Collaborate with stakeholders, providing financial insights for decision-making.
• Ensure compliance with financial regulations & industry standards.

Minimum Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree.
• Proven experience in real estate finance & property management.
• Experience with property management platforms, ideally AppFolio.
• Strong skills in financial analysis, budgeting, & reporting.
• Ability to interpret financial data & communicate effectively.
• Excellent English communication skills.
