A well-established and highly reputable insurance company is seeking a visionary and strategic Chief Financial Officer (CFO) to join its executive leadership team. This role offers a unique opportunity for a seasoned finance professional to shape the financial direction of the organization drive sustainable growth and enhance operational performance. The CFO will be a trusted advisor to the CEO and Board providing insight-driven financial leadership and ensuring robust governance risk management and compliance across all business units.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute the companys financial strategy aligned with long-term business objectives.
• Lead financial planning forecasting reporting and analysis to support informed decision-making.
• Oversee risk management regulatory compliance and internal controls to safeguard the organizations assets.
• Provide strategic guidance on investment capital allocation and growth initiatives.
• Partner with the executive team to influence business strategy operational efficiency and organizational performance.
• Manage relationships with external stakeholders including auditors regulators investors and key business partners.
• Drive a culture of high performance and accountability within the finance team and across the broader organization.
• Lead MandA activities business case evaluations and other strategic initiatives as required.

Requirements

• Chartered Accountant (CA) with Financial Services Provider (FSP) registration Essential / Minimum
• Certificate or Diploma in Treasury Recommended / Desirable
• MBA in Business Administration Recommended / Desirable
• Fitness for Duty Essential / Minimum
• Certified FAIS Professional Recommended / Desirable
• Minimum 1012 years in operational finance with at least 58 years in senior financial management or executive finance roles Essential / Minimum
• Proven track record in the insurance or financial services sector ideally with exposure to regulatory compliance risk management and corporate governance Recommended / Desirable

• Strong understanding of the insurance and financial services industry corporate governance and regulatory environment
• Strategic thinker with excellent leadership decision-making and cross-functional collaboration skills
• Ability to influence and engage stakeholders at all levels including Board members regulators and external partners
