POSITION AVAILABLE FOR A CANDIDATE ATTORNEY IN WELLINGTON, WESTERN CAPE

Do you love the law? Can you draft pleadings and converse fluently with equal enthusiasm? Our law firm in Wellington is on the hunt for a sharp, motivated Candidate Attorney to start as soon as possible.

We specialise in civil litigation, with a particular focus on debt collection and correspondence work. If high-demand legal duties scare you, this might not be your moment. But if you are eager to learn, hands-on, and ready to grow in a fast-paced legal environment, read on!

Responsibilities
  • The ideal candidate must:
Qualifications
  • Be fully bilingual in English and Afikaans;
  • Be able to read and draft documents in English;
  • Have strong attention to detail;
  • Be driven and able to take intiative;
  • Be able to work inependently;
  • Be eager to learn;
  • Be highly organised; and
  • Preferably reside in the Boland area.
Minimum requirements
  • LLB degree from a Universiy in South Africa;
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills;
  • Strong drafting skills and administative abilities; and
  • Proficiency in Microsot Office and Outlook.
  • Knowledge of the Lexpro accounting system will be an advantage.
Working hours and remuneration
  • Starting date: Flexible – after 1 February 2026
  • Salary: to be discussed at interview
  • Duration: 24 months (subject to a three-month probation period)
