Job summary

We are looking to recruit an enthusiastic and motivated Advanced Nurse Practitioner on a locum basis to join our friendly and supportive multidisciplinary team at Parkgrove Medical Practice. The ideal candidate will be an experienced Advanced Nurse Practitioner with a proven track record of applying sound decision‑making skills to assess, diagnose and treat medical conditions. Advanced Practitioners from all disciplines will become the backbone of primary care.

This diverse role will involve managing acute presentations, minor illnesses and home visits. The candidate will be responsible for carrying out clinical assessments, initiating investigations, formulating management plans and undertaking appropriate interventions. Non‑medical prescribing is essential. Up to 10 locum sessions per week, session payments can be discussed.

The ideal candidate will hold a degree‑level nursing qualification, with current NMC registration and be able to evidence highly developed specialist knowledge to Masters equivalent level, with significant comprehensive post‑registration experience.
