Overview

Our well-established store set in the heart of the Joburg community is seeking a vibrant Butchery Manager to join our dynamic team.

Responsibilities
  • Perform people management functions in the butchery.
  • Ensure client satisfaction of our customers.
  • Ensure product and stock availability through effective planning.
  • Take responsibility for all quality control activities in the butchery environment.
  • Manage the administrative functions within the butchery.
  • Perform stock management functions within the butchery.
  • Manage all Hygiene and Safety activities of the butchery.
  • Conduct various ad-hoc responsibilities to assist the team.
Qualifications and Experience
  • Must have matric or a NQF 4 qualification.
  • Blockman NQF 3 qualification would be advantageous.
  • At least 3 years' experience as a Butchery Manager in a customer centric environment.
  • Basic knowledge of first aid will be advantageous.
  • Meat Industry Experience.
  • Knowledge of butchery hygiene and safety standards.
  • Knowledge of meat cuts / products.
  • Education: High School (matric) (Required).
  • Experience: Butchery Manager: 3 years (Required).
