About the job Business Unit Co-Ordinator

Key purpose:

Do you have excellent administration and computer skills, are you extremely competent on excel and love to work with spreadsheets and data? We have a vacancy in our East London Factory, and we would like to encourage anyone in our company that is interested in joining our team to apply.

Duties and responsibilities:

  • Working together with the Safety Reps and SHEQ Coordinator ensuring that the department complies with the requirements of the companys Health & Safety policies
  • ·Controlling and monitoring of all raw material and finished goods into and out of the department
  • Accurate weekly stock takes of raw materials, finished goods and consumables
  • Material reconciliations and capturing of data into SAP
  • Updating the efficiency schedules on a daily basis
  • Updating weekly staffing plans, training plans and wage schedules
  • General administrative duties as required by the Production Manager
  • Update the register of NCQR and CFARs for monitoring of trends and statistics
  • Follow up on DRM actions
  • Submit and follow-up on trials and associated ISIR requests
  • Assist with staff and general queries

Qualifications, skills and experience:

  • Minimum of a National Diploma (Degree advantageous)
  • Maths or Accountancy passed in Grade 12 is essential
  • Have at least 2 years experience in an administrative type position
  • Experience in a manufacturing environment will be advantageous
  • Excellent computer skills, (advanced Excel essential)
  • SAP knowledge advantageous
  • High levels of accuracy
  • Highly motivated team player
