A UK-based cleaning company is seeking a vibrant Business Development Manager to enhance their client base in South Africa. This role involves converting warm leads into loyal customers and maintaining high standards of customer service. Candidates should have at least 2 years of telesales experience, proven ability to meet sales targets, and be proficient in Microsoft Office. We’re looking for a vibrant and results-driven Business Development Manager to help grow our client base by converting warm leads into loyal customers.
This role suits someone who thrives in a B2C environment, has remote sales experience, and ideally has worked within the cleaning industry. You’ll need to be organised, resilient, and confident in handling objections while maintaining a positive attitude.
Engage with warm leads provided by the company and convert them into confirmed bookings.
Build and maintain strong client relationships, ensuring a high standard of customer service.
Understand client needs and recommend tailored cleaning solutions.
Consistently meet and exceed sales targets to maximise commission earnings.
On-target earnings of R25,000 / month (R8,000 base salary + uncapped commission).
40 days paid leave annually.

At least 2 years’ experience in telesales or direct sales, with a strong record of closing deals.
Fluent English communication skills , both spoken and written.
Comfortable working r emotely and independently, with strong self-management skills.
Laptop with minimum 16GB RAM, 13th Gen i5 processor, Windows 11, and 250GB SSD or better.
Reliable high-speed internet and backup solutions for power interruptions.
Excellent people skills and a proactive approach to solving customer issues.
Able to stay calm and focused under pressure, and handle rejection professionally.
Demonstrated success in phone-based sales, including meeting quotas.
Proficient in Microsoft Office tools – Word, Excel, and Outlook.
Experience using CRM systems to manage leads and track performance.
Strong negotiation and conflict resolution skills, with the ability to manage complaints effectively.
