A leading business development firm is looking for a Business Development Manager in Johannesburg to drive growth by identifying new opportunities and building relationships. The ideal candidate will have over 5 years of experience in business development, preferably in logistics, and a strong sales background. This role involves strategizing and negotiating deals, requiring excellent communication and analytical skills.
Our Business Development Manager (BDM) will focus on driving business growth by identifying new opportunities, building relationships, and developing strategies. He / She will play a crucial role in expanding our organisation’s market reach and increase our revenue. Our Business Development Manager will also be involved in all aspects of business development from market research and lead generation to negotiating deals and managing client relationships.
Directly reporting to the Senior Business Development Manager
Sales related qualification, with at least 5 years’ experience in a similar role and / or a Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field is often preferred.
Proven experience in a commercial or business development role, preferably within a logistics or supply chain environment.
Knowledge of Logistics and Supply Chain Management: A solid understanding of logistics principles, processes, and best practices.
