- Involved in all aspects of business development, from market research and lead generation to negotiating deals and managing client relationships.
Minimum Job Requirements
- Bachelor Degree in Sales / Marketing, Supply Chain or similar.
- At least 5 years' sales experience in a similar role and / or a Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, is preferred.
- Proven experience in a commercial or business development role, preferably within a logistics or supply chain environment,
- A proven sales track record is essential.

Key Performance Areas
- Report to the Senior Business Development Manager :
- Identifying and researching new business opportunities: Analyse market trends, identify potential target markets, and research leads, identifying potentials.
- Develop and implement business development strategies: Create plans to achieve growth objectives, including identifying new markets and client needs.
- Building and maintaining Client Relationships: Network, attend industry events, and nurture relationships with all stakeholders.
- Monitoring Sales progress and Performance: Track key metrics, analyse data, and make adjustments to strategies in order to meet goals.
- Collaborating with internal teams: Work closely with Sales, Marketing, and Product Development teams to ensure alignment and successful project execution.
- Negotiating and Closing Deals: Communicate and negotiate to secure new business and partnerships.
- Administration: Capture customer engagement data into Sales Mobility platform. Proper, efficient and effective use of the Sales Mobility platform. All relevant information regarding the engagement to be captured. Efficient, Effective, Quality reporting on all sales and marketing aspects of the business. Ensure all necessary guidelines strictly adhered to.
