About the Role

Our client is seeking two confident, driven Business Development Consultants to join their Cape Town–based team. This role offers the opportunity to work closely with a UK lettings team and a network of self-employed partners, supporting clients with London-based properties.

This is a fast-paced, high-volume role ideal for someone who thrives on targets, enjoys building relationships over the phone, and is motivated by strong earning potential and results-driven success.

Woodstock, Cape Town (office-based, Monday–Friday)

Reporting to: Managing Director & Lettings Director (UK-based)
Working hours:
09:00–18:00 (SAST–BST)
10:00–19:00 (SAST–GMT)

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver professional, responsive support to inbound enquiries from clients, partners, and applicants
  • Make proactive outbound calls to generate new valuation and instruction opportunities
  • Build and maintain strong client relationships via telephone engagement
  • Create, manage, and follow up on valuation opportunities
  • Book lettings valuations directly into the Lettings Directors diary
  • Generate and chase sales valuation opportunities, booking appointments into partners diaries where applicable
  • Refer business across internal departments, self-employed partners, and approved external partners
  • Proactively identify opportunities by touting properties listed with other agents
  • Work towards clear performance targets (including call volumes, valuations booked, instructions gained, and referrals made)
Qualifications
  • Excellent telephone manner and strong written communication skills
  • Customer-focused with a professional approach
  • Confident, natural sales ability with strong conversion skills
  • Self-motivated, competitive, and target-driven
  • Previous sales experience is advantageous but not essential
