Overview
We're seeking a Business Analyst with management consulting expertise, ideally in finance or insurance, to drive key client engagements. Responsibilities
- Engage effectively with clients to understand their needs and priorities
- Articulate, define and deliver against the requirements of the client
- Support programme management processes and tools
- Understand organisational leadership structures
- Assist in stakeholder and issue identification
- Develop structured approaches to assigned problem areas
- Contribute to identification of key insights and findings
- Coordinate effectively with support staff and client teams to deliver outcomes
- Analyse client business and organisational issues with minimal supervision
- Communicate client requirements clearly to project leadership and contribute to fact base development
- Apply relevant analytical tools and techniques with confidence
- Conduct independent analysis and identify key implications
- Assist in developing actionable recommendations
- Conduct structured interviews and actively listen
- Produce clear, effective business writing and summaries
- Communicate information accurately and succinctly
Requirements
- Completed BA or Bcom degree in Business administration, Computer science or related field
- A minimum of 3 years' + of experience in an Analyst role
- Understanding of the Microsoft Power Platforms product suite with advanced Power BI capabilities
- Experience in presenting work confidently in team and formal settings
- Ability to contribute meaningfully to team discussions
- Experience with project management methodologies (e.g. Agile, Waterfall, etc.).
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication skills- written and verbal
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, cross-functional environment.
- Knowledge of business process modeling and flow-charting techniques
- Respond positively to coaching and collaborate with peers
- Maintain awareness of the importance of continuous client communication
- Build rapport with client peers
- Ability to work alongside teams within the business or the management team to establish business needs
