To provide analysis and management skills to assist the business in effectively leveraging IT resources and information to support business goals. Minimum requirements :
Qualifications
- NQF 7 in BCom Information Technology or similar is required
- 3 years’ business analysis experience is required (preferably in a financial environment)
- 5 years’ systems experience in a commercial environment
- Systems change and implementation process (SDLC) in a structured environment experience across multiple projects is required
- Must have experience in a medium sized business environment
Responsibilities
- Develop systems specifications for enhancements and amendments by evaluating business needs, identifying solutions, drafting specifications to address business needs
- Evaluate new systems or development enhancements for compatibility with existing systems, systems performance and impact
- Tracking systems performance and managing that the systems perform at the required speed and efficiency prior and post implementation
- Provide support in the development and maintenance of the organisational systems architecture
- Prepare and present motivations for development costs
- Coordinate contracting of service providers appointed for development by drafting required agreements, including project contracts and deliverables
- Test all enhancements by checking development aligns with the specifications
- Coordinate user testing of enhancements by identifying appropriate testers, developing test scripts, providing testing supports, training on the new developments, tracking and managing the test results and coordinating signoff
- Develop test cases by understanding requirements and specifying scenarios, test conditions and correct results as required
- Manage and perform testing of solutions by conducting and overseeing testing
- Oversee user testing by engaging with the users, allocating tests, monitoring testing and completeness, receiving feedback on user experience
- Review existing reports for relevance, accuracy and consistency by working with report owners, testing for accuracy, understanding their requirements, implementing changes to support business
- Compile accurate reports through sourcing relevant data from the internal and external systems
