Job summary

A technology solutions company is looking for a Business Analyst to take accountability for business requirements and ensure that solutions meet them. The role involves building strong client relationships and documenting both requirements and solutions. Candidates should have at least 5 years of experience in a software development environment, familiarity with Agile methodologies, and solid communication skills. This is a full-time remote position with occasional meetings at the Head Office.

Qualifications

As a Business Analyst what do you do

You take accountability for business requirements and ensuring that the solutions developed meet these understand and can contribute to systems solution can document bothrequirements and solutions and maintain such get to build and maintain strong client relationships both internally and externally.

Must Have:

• Applicant must be based in Cape Town or surrounds
• Retail Industry Experience
• 5 years working as a business analyst in a software development environment
• Solid knowledge and experience working with VAS providers
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Previous exposure to Agile Methodologies such as Scrum
• Experience querying data using SQL
• Own transport
• The availability to travel to clients for meetings if/when required
• Grade 12 Certificate or equivalent N3
• Conceptual understanding of systems integrations such as APIs

Not required but preference will be given to applicants with:

• Formal Business/Systems Analysis qualification(s)
• Formal Scrum or Agile qualification(s)
• Formal IT-related qualification
• Retail Industry experience is Preferable
