The Railway Safety Regulator (RSR) is a public entity established under Section 4 of the National Railway Safety Regulator Act No.16 of 2002. The RSR's core mandate is to oversee and enforce safety performance across all railway operators in South Africa, including those from neighboring states whose rail operations extend into the country.
The RSR invites South African school leavers and students aged 15 - 35 years who are currently studying or wish to pursue undergraduate studies at recognised and accredited institutions of higher learning (such as TVET colleges, universities of technology and private and public universities) in the following fields:
