Job summary

A leading recruitment firm is seeking a proactive branch manager with at least 5 years of operations and branch management experience in the engineering supply sector. The ideal candidate will have a tertiary qualification in Business or Retail Management and a proven track record in driving profitability, managing expenses, and maintaining excellent customer service. A valid driver's license and own vehicle are required. This position is based in George, Western Cape, South Africa.

Job description

KEY REQUIREMENTS TO MEET FOR CONSIDERATION

• You will have a tertiary qualification in Business or Retail Management, coupled with at least 5 habitats of experience in operations and branch management within the technical or engineering supply sector
• You will have experience in driving profitability of the branch, manage expenses, ensure targets are met and ensure stock accuracy through daily stock counts.
• You will have proven experience in customer service excellence, focusing on effectively resoling problems, handling complaints and attending to queries and quotations.
• You will be a proactive and natural leader, motivating staff and ensuring the highest standards, policies and procedures are upheld and adhered to.
• A solid track record invariant maintaining HSE and security within the branch is essential.
• You must have a valid drivers licence, own car and a clear criminal and credit record.
