Salary Range: USD 1200 - 1500 per month (The final offer is at the client's discretion and depends on the candidate's interview result, skills, and experience.)

Scope of Work

As a highly organized and dynamic Virtual Bookkeeper you will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, managing accounts payable and receivable, reconciling bank statements, and producing financial reports. In addition to traditional bookkeeping duties, this role involves contributing to special projects as needed.

Job Summary

We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Virtual Bookkeeper to join our team. As a Virtual Bookkeeper, you will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, managing accounts payable and receivable, reconciling bank statements, and producing financial reports. This role is remote, allowing you to work from anywhere with a stable internet connection.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage accounts payable and receivable, including processing invoices, issuing payments, and following up on outstanding balances.
  • Reconcile bank statements and credit card transactions to ensure accuracy.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records using Xero accounting software.
  • Prepare and analyze financial reports, such as profit and loss statements and balance sheets.
  • Assist in budgeting and forecasting processes.
  • Communicate with clients and vendors to resolve financial discrepancies and inquiries.
  • Ensure compliance with relevant accounting standards and regulations.
  • Collaborate with other team members, such as accountants and financial analysts, to support overall financial operations.
  • Assist in maintaining accurate financial records for, including accounts payable and receivable.
  • Conduct data entry, reconciliation, and journal entries following US GAAP standards.
  • Prepare financial statements, reports, and summaries tailored to US regulatory requirements.
  • Assist with payroll processing, tax preparation, and compliance with US tax laws.
  • Manage and organize financial documents and records in accordance with US regulations.
  • Communicate with US-based clients professionally to collect necessary financial information.
  • Collaborate with Upgrade to see actual numbers to meet client needs and deadlines.
  • Maintain a high level of accuracy and confidentiality in all tasks.
Qualifications
  • 2 years of general accounting or bookkeeping experience.
  • Experience using Xero or QuickBooks Online accounting software
  • Bachelor's degree in accounting
  • Experience working in a remote environment and US Central Time Zone hours
  • Strong English communication skills
  • Ability to work independently without micromanagement
  • Good understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP)
  • Great attitude and willingness to work hard in a fast-paced environment.
  • Must be a problem solver and a people person, able to communicate effectively and build positive relationships.
  • Highly organized with the ability to manage and execute many simultaneous reconciliations efficiently.
