Overview

We are seeking a detail-oriented and highly organized Bookkeeper to join our team at KPI Consulting. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, managing day-to-day accounting tasks, and supporting the finance function to ensure timely, compliant, and reliable reporting.

Responsibilities
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records, including posting of all transactions
  • Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable functions
  • Prepare and process invoices, receipts, and payments
  • Reconcile bank accounts, credit cards, and general ledger accounts
  • Assist with cash flow tracking and forecasting
  • Prepare month-end and year-end financial reports
  • Assist external accountants and auditors with documentation and queries
  • Process payroll or provide payroll support as required
  • Maintain compliance with financial policies, procedures, and relevant legislation
  • Provide administrative support to the finance department as needed
Qualifications
  • Proven experience as a Bookkeeper, Accounts Clerk, or similar role
  • Proficiency in accounting software such as Xero, Sage, QuickBooks, or Pastel
  • Strong understanding of basic accounting principles and bookkeeping practices
  • Excellent proficiency with MS Excel and general computer literacy
  • Strong attention to detail and high level of accuracy
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities
  • Relevant financial or accounting qualification or certification is an advantage
