Job description

Position Number: S86540

This position is a Grade: 9 - 40 (32 hours a week) with an approximate salary range of $44,160-$53,740 and is subject to change based on experience, skills and qualifications.

Key Responsibilities
  • Administers, conducts, evaluates, and supervises the implementation of behavioral assessment measures (e.g., VB-MAPP, ABLLS-R, Vineland) and functional assessment measures.
  • Teaches BHT and RBT on the accurate implementation [JL1] of clients’ programs and data collection systems and all necessary monitoring and reporting systems.
  • Ensures appropriate behavioral data systems are implemented such that quantifiable behavioral data are collected at regular intervals to allow for the continual evaluation of behavior plans and the achievement of individual goals and objectives.
  • Conducts regular [JL2] caregiver and/or teacher training and consultation.
  • Responds to referrals for service in a timely and appropriate manner.[JL3]
  • Develops individualized skill development programs using evidence-based practices for home, school, community, and clinic settings. Also, designs behavior support plans based on functional assessment data.
  • Is responsible for ongoing data analysis and program development for client caseload.
  • Develops written reports documenting behavioral recommendations for parents, caregivers, and agency personnel in a timely and accurate manner.
  • Completes all paperwork required for client insurance authorization in a timely and accurate manner.
  • Conducts monthly supervision meetings with assigned BHT, RBT, or trainee.
  • Meets regularly with clinical director/faculty member and notifies her immediately of issues impacting client’s progress and satisfaction.
  • Completes all necessary documentation in a timely and satisfactory manner as requested by the clinical director/faculty member.
  • Actively communicates the Lehigh University Autism Services’ mission, values, and vision to the community.
  • Collaborates with treatment team, including but not limited to, the client, parents and other caregivers, outside professionals, clinical director, Lehigh University faculty members, other clinic supervisors, BHT, RBT, and support staff.
  • Maintains and acquires cutting edge knowledge of applied behavior analysis and other evidence-based practices by attending required trainings and reading peer reviewed journals on a regular basis.
  • Maintains a clean, safe, and organized work and therapy environment.
Qualifications
  • Master's Degree in a related field
  • Three to five years of related work experience
  • Board Certified Behavior Analyst
  • PA Behavior Specialist
  • One to three years as BCBA
  • Three to five years working with children with autism
