Overview

Oversee the daily operations of all bars and lounges on the ship, ensuring that they are well-stocked, clean, and organized. Train, supervise, and motivate a team of bartenders to deliver exceptional service to our guests. Create and maintain a positive work environment, promoting teamwork and a strong work ethic. Monitor inventory levels and place orders for supplies as needed. Ensure compliance with all company policies and procedures, as well as local laws and regulations. Handle guest complaints and resolve any issues in a timely and professional manner. Collaborate with other departments, such as Food and Beverage and Entertainment, to plan and execute special events and promotions. Maintain accurate records of sales, inventory, and staff schedules. Conduct regular performance evaluations and provide feedback and coaching to team members. Adhere to all safety and hygiene standards, and ensure that all team members do the same.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a supervisory role in the hospitality industry, preferably in a bar or lounge setting
• Strong leadership and communication skills
• Excellent customer service skills and a friendly, outgoing personality
• Knowledge of different types of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages, as well as mixology and bartending techniques
• Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment
• Flexibility to work long hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
• Fluent in English, both written and verbal
• Must be at least 21 years of age and hold a valid passport and/or work permit
