Role Overview

As an Azure / AWS Infra & App Developer (Advanced), you'll be a key member of our Cloud Foundation / Cloud Control Centre team.

Your role will involve developing and maintaining cloud infrastructure, with a particular emphasis on networking and monitoring.

You'll actively participate in Agile methodologies, collaborate with stakeholders, and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.

Essential Technical Skills

• Minimum 3 years of experience in AWS & Azure Monitoring, Security, and Networking.
• Proficiency in Continuous Integration and Continuous Delivery tools such as Git Hub, Terraform, and Terragrunt.
• Strong knowledge of Python development and version control systems like Git.
• Experience in developing Dashboards, Health monitors, Alerts, and task automation.
• Ability to create reports based on SQL databases and other data sources.

Advantageous Technical Skills

• Experience with UI frameworks like Angular, Java Script, HTML5, and CSS.
• Familiarity with monitoring tools like Dynatrace, Splunk, Grafana, and Prometheus.
• Proficiency in streaming platforms or messaging systems such as Kafka or MQTT.
• Knowledge of Microservices, Azure Serverless Functions, AWS Lambda, and container architectures like Docker.

Essential Soft Skills

Qualifications & Experience

• Relevant IT Degree / Diploma or equivalent work experience.
• Minimum 3 years' experience with AWS & Azure Cloud.
• Minimum 3 years' experience as a Software Engineer.
