Qualifications

• 5 years’ experience in this field.
• Qualified Auto Electrician (RED SEAL CERTIFICATE).
• Code 11 (C) licence and PrDP.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose electrical issues in vehicles using diagnostic tools and equipment.
• Repair and replace faulty wiring, alternators, starters, and other electrical components.
• Install and maintain electrical systems, including lighting, heating, and air conditioning.
• Perform routine maintenance and inspections on vehicle electrical systems.
• Ensure compliance with safety standards and regulations.
• Maintain accurate records of all work performed.
• Provide excellent customer service and communicate effectively.
• Effective time management.
• Evaluate electrical defects and apply leading industry related solutions.
• Technical monitor and repairing of vehicles.
• Road test vehicles.
• Strip, clean and assess mechanical / electrical parts.
• Rewiring of alternators etc.
