Retail Assistant Warehouse Manager Umhlanga, KZN

Our client in the retail industry is looking for an Assistant Warehouse Manager who will be based in Umhlanga, KZN. We need a dynamic and driven individual with a continuous improvement mindset who has the character to deliver. This is a demanding position that will suit a hands‑on, high energy and output‑based individual. This position will suit someone who can prove a strong ability to drive results through people.

Scope of work:

  • To assist with effectively managing all Warehouse deliveries, collections, IBTs, and risk control in an efficient and timely manner.
  • To assist with the overall operation of the Warehouse ensuring the safe and effective receipt, order, assembly storage and distribution of customer goods on time and without damage.
  • Fleet, shrinkage and stock control.
  • Employee improvement programme.
  • Upheld excellent customer service.
  • Upkeep of warehouse and building maintenance.
  • Taking full responsibility of the warehouse, its staff, vehicles and contents.
  • Focused on productivity.

Working hours:

  • Mon Fri: 7am 5pm
  • Saturdays and Public Holidays: 8am 4pm
  • Sundays: 8am 2pm

Qualifications:

  • Matric
  • Tertiary qualification relating to Logistics / Warehouse / Distribution
