The opportunity

As an Assistant Manager in our Business Modelling team, you will play a pivotal role in delivering high‑quality financial modelling solutions that empower clients to make confident, strategic decisions. You’ll work on diverse projects, including:

  • Model Builds: Design and develop robust Excel‑based business planning and forecasting models.
  • Model Reviews: Provide assurance and insights on complex financial models for transactions, project finance, and strategic evaluations.
  • Collaborative Projects: Partner with cross‑functional teams on high‑impact deals and strategic initiatives.
Your key responsibilities
    and review complex financial models for valuation, forecasting, and scenario analysis.
  • Deliver accurate, high‑quality outputs aligned with EY’s professional standards.
  • Communicate effectively within the team and contribute to client deliverables.
  • Support risk management processes and maintain strong attention to detail.
  • Demonstrate curiosity and a growth mindset, challenging assumptions and improving processes.

  • Technical Expertise: Advanced Excel proficiency and strong financial modelling skills.

  • Professional Qualifications: CA(SA), CFA Level 1 or FMVA certification, or similar, are all advantageous.
