A leading boutique hotel collection in Franschhoek is seeking a dedicated Assistant Housekeeping Manager. The ideal candidate must have at least 2 years of experience in a 5-star hotel, excellent communication skills in English and Xhosa, and the ability to adapt to a flexible schedule. Qualifications

  • Must have at least 2 years’ experience in a 5* Hotel Housekeeping environment.
  • Demonstrated excellent written and verbal communication skills in English and Xhosa.
  • Ability to multitask and manage own time and workload.
  • Proven job reliability, diligence and dedication.
  • Must be flexible with working nights, weekends, and holidays.

Responsibilities

  • Assisting in supervising and training housekeeping staff.
  • Conducting inspections of guest rooms and common areas.
  • Assisting in managing and maintaining inventory of cleaning supplies.
  • Addressing guest concerns or requests promptly.
  • Collaborating with the housekeeping team and other departments.
  • Ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations.
  • Assisting in generating reports and maintaining records.
  • Identifying and resolving housekeeping-related issues.
