Job description

Broubart Security is seeking disciplined, professional, and alert Armed Response Officers to join our operational team. This frontline role requires individuals who demonstrate strong situational awareness, respect for procedure, and a commitment to community and client safety.

Key Responsibilities

• Prospect, qualify and convert new commercial and residential clients.
• Respond to alarm activations and incidents as dispatched by the iCentre.
• Conduct full perimeter and site inspections, documenting all findings.
• Maintain clear and professional radio communication at all times.
• Manage shift handovers including vehicle checks, firearm checks & equipment verification.
• Execute stand‑off duties for visibility and rapid response.
• Record incident and site‑visit details accurately in the OB book.
• Patrol according to designated route plans while remaining highly visible and observant.
• Act as a professional ambassador of Broubart in public.
• and reporting.

Requirements

• PSIRA Registered (Grade C or higher).
• Valid driver’s licence.
• Firearm competency or training towards competency (non‑lethal Byrna weapon system used).
• Strong observation skills & ability to remain calm under pressure.
• Excellent personal grooming and professional conduct.
• Computer literacy beneficial.

Shifts and Employer of Choice

• Day shift (06h00–18h00) or night shift (18h00–06h00).
• Shifts include weekends and public holidays.
• Outdoor, frontline operational role.
