The Digital Channels team works on dynamic new projects and product enhancements across web and mobile platforms to improve business efficiency, gain competitive advantage, and provide superior service to clients.

Key Purpose

Senior Android developers support projects throughout the lifecycle—including requirements, design, implementation, release, and post‑release support.

Responsibilities

• Develop, test, and maintain high‑quality application software.
• Collaborate with product managers and designers to deliver successful, user‑friendly products.
• Analyse, maintain, and enhance existing applications and troubleshoot issues efficiently.
• Produce technical specifications and design documents.
• Participate in new business development through ideation, prototype development, and project estimates.
• Research new techniques, tools, and best practices and share insights with the team and community.
• Maintain high coding standards, including clean code thinking and domain knowledge.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3+ years related degree or diploma (BSc/BTech).
• Experience with multiple published apps in the Google Play Store.
• Proficiency with Kotlin (beneficial) and Java.
• Experience with agile development methodologies and automated testing tools.
• Experience with Git version control and CI/CD pipelines.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills.

Technical Skills

• Android SDK, Jetpack components, MVVM, LiveData, Repository pattern.
• REST/JSON, SOAP web services.
• Unit, UI, Espresso, Robolectric testing.
