A leading financial services provider in Cape Town is seeking an Agent Support: Tax Registration & Compliance Officer. In this role, you will ensure Sales Partners are tax compliant, manage tax registration processes, and support teams with onboarding requirements. Qualifications

What you’ll be doing

You’ll be the go-to expert for tax registration and compliance for our Sales Partners, ensuring everything runs smoothly from onboarding to ongoing compliance.

Key responsibilities
  • Manage tax registration for all new and existing Sales Partners
  • Ensure full tax compliance in line with regulatory and internal deadlines
  • Support regional and provincial teams with tax-related onboarding requirements
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date compliance records and tracking reports
  • Assist Sales Partners with tax-related queries, documentation, and guidance
  • Liaise closely with Finance, Compliance, and Sales Operations teams
  • Identify, manage, and escalate tax compliance risks or delays
  • Ensure alignment with SARS and relevant regulatory requirements
  • Contribute to improving processes to ensure efficiency, accuracy, and consistency
What you’ll bring
Experience & knowledge
  • Experience in tax registration, compliance, or regulatory administration
  • Working knowledge of SARS processes (advantageous)
  • Experience supporting sales agents or field-based teams is a plus
Qualifications
  • Relevant qualification in Finance, Accounting, Tax, or Administration
