Job description

Minimum requirements :

  • Grade 12 with a minimum of 3 years within a similar Aftermarket Sales position, in the Materials Handling industry
  • Relevant technical skills within the Materials Handling industry
  • Relevant knowledge of company products and value-added offerings
  • Valid driver's license
  • Willingness to travel within the Mpumalanga region

Duties :

  1. Promote and sell Aftermarket services, parts, accessories, rental offerings, service contracts, tyres, driver training, load testing, and in-house engineering
  2. Achieve sales, growth, and profitability targets in the assigned sales territory
  3. Contact new and existing customers to discuss their needs
  4. Visit new customers to ensure the safe operation of forklifts according to standards and legal requirements, promoting driver training and load testing
  5. Provide information and resolve customer questions regarding products, prices, availability, uses, and credit terms
  6. Quote prices, credit terms, and other specifications
  7. Prepare sales contracts for orders and submit them for processing
  8. Assist with resolving debtor disputes and cash collections
  9. Ensure quality of customer interaction and service
  10. Manage deals financially in line with budgets and strategic objectives
  11. Plan and achieve short-term and long-term rental targets for the territory
  12. Prepare and present reports as required
  13. Assist with parts stock take exercises as needed
