Job summary

A finance and accounting firm seeks a responsible candidate for financial data capture and reconciliation to Trial Balance. Overview

Location: Witbank (In-Office Only)

Job Type: Full-Time, Permanent

Salary: R10 000.00 per month (Negotiable depending on experience)

Job Purpose

The ideal candidate will be responsible for capturing financial data and performing reconciliations up to Trial Balance for a group of companies. This role requires in-office presence in Pretoria, and is not hybrid or remote.

Key Responsibilities

  • Capture bank statements, supplier invoices, and other source documents.
  • Reconcile general ledger accounts, supplier accounts, and customer accounts up to Trial Balance.
  • Compile working papers and maintain audit / accounting files for Accountant and Management.
  • Provide administrative and clerical support to the finance and accounting team.
  • Organize and file all relevant finance and accounting documentation.
  • Assist with preparation of financial reports and related administrative duties.

Skills and Experience Requirements

  • Matric (Grade 12) certificate.
  • Minimum of 2–3 years’ bookkeeping / accounting experience.
  • Prior experience working with Pastel Partner is essential.
  • Advanced computer literacy with strong proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel.
  • Excellent administrative and document management skills.
  • Previous experience working with group companies is advantageous.
  • Ability to perform well under pressure and meet deadlines.
  • Must have own reliable transport.
