Job summary

An International Garment Importer is looking for a Manufacturing Corporate Accountant with over 5 years of experience. The ideal applicant should have a background in accounting and hold a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, with preference for CPA candidates. This role includes overseeing accounting operations, managing cash, and reconciliation responsibilities. Essential skills include proficiency in Quick Book and fluency in English. This position is located in Milnerton, Western Cape, South Africa.

Qualifications

• 5 years or more experience as a Manufacturing Corporate Accountant.
• Experienced with Accounting background.
• Solid understanding of accounting, audit, and tax.

Responsibilities

• Daily maintain with Factoring Company (AR, Ledger Debt) Account.
• Running accounting operations, including monthly and quarterly close process.
• In charge of cash management and inventory reconciliations.
• Completing monthly relevant account reconciliations and reports.
• Payroll and required Tax File supervision.
• Assisting CEO in generation of yearly audit assets.

Overview

As the ideal candidate, you will have 5 years or more experience as a Manufacturing Corporate Accountant.

Responsibilities

• Daily maintain with Factoring Company ( AR, Ledger Debt ) Account
• Running accounting operations, including monthly and quarterly close process
• In charge of cash management, inventory reconciliations
• Completing monthly relevant account reconciliations and reports
• Payroll, and required Tax File
• Supervise journal entry associated tasks
• Assisting CEO in generation of yearly audit assets
• Working with outside CPA, Reconciliation of the Balance Sheet and F/S.
• Required office operation follow ups supervision

• Coordinate with filiated companies
• Fluent in English to communicate
• Experienced with Accounting background
• Bachelor degree in Accounting, a CPA or candidate preferred
• Preferred Experienced with manufacturing corporate for more than 5 years
• Solid understanding of accounting, audit, and tax
• Strong skills in communication, organization, time management & problem solving
• Ability to work individually as well as in a group as a sincere team player
• Eligible to work in the USA
• Fluent, communicate and write in English
