Position Overview

Experienced ACCOUNT MANAGER / S (FOR CAPITAL EQUIPMENT) are required for permanent employment in Nelspruit (Mbombela), Witbank (eMalahleni), and Steelpoort. The role involves maintaining and expanding relationships with key account customers while representing the full range of company products and services.

The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in business-to-business sales, with at least 6 years of experience, including 3 years in Key Account Management, preferably within the mining, construction, or industrial sectors. Knowledge of the rental industry, CRM systems, budgeting, forecasting, and commercial policy enforcement is advantageous.

Key Duties & Responsibilities
  • Secure and grow revenue streams
  • Execute the annual Key Account Sales plan
  • Develop and maintain long-term contract rentals
  • Develop and maintain Service Level Agreements
  • Manage budgets and forecasts
  • Forecast key account stock requirements
  • Deliver turnover aligned with or exceeding key account budgets
  • Identify and convert market opportunities
  • Maximize strategic potential within key accounts
  • Utilize national service network for strategic growth
  • Manage customer relationships appropriately
  • Ensure credit management adherence
  • Build strong customer relationships with key accounts
  • Oversee call cycles for premium customer service
  • Monitor customer satisfaction
  • Develop market intelligence and translate into market needs
  • Drive product and service expansion opportunities
  • Identify opposition threats and develop strategies
  • Generate monthly performance reports for key accounts
  • Gather and distribute strategic account information to relevant managers
Education, Qualifications, Experience & Skills
  • Minimum 6 years sales experience, with 3 years in accounts management in a B2B environment
  • Mining, construction, or industrial experience is advantageous
  • Rental industry knowledge is advantageous
  • Sales and Marketing Degree (IMM) / Diploma preferred
  • Experience working in a CRM environment is advantageous
  • Computer literacy in MS Office, CRM, and pipeline management
  • Valid driver’s license
  • Flexibility to work overtime as required
