Due to continuous expansion, an opportunity has now arisen for a Senior Digital Marketing Analyst to join our growing digital marketing team based in our office in Cape Town.

This role is responsible for planning, managing, and maintaining RISA's digital marketing campaigns to enhance brand awareness, drive web traffic, and acquire leads/customers from various digital touchpoints. The ideal candidate thrives on using data to drive decisions and optimize performance. A key aspect involves designing, implementing, and optimizing email workflows within Adobe Campaign, ensuring targeted customer communications, and consolidating digital marketing metrics for monthly KPI reports.

Requirements
Principal Duties & Responsibilities
  • Monitor, analyze, and report on digital marketing campaign performance across channels like SEO, PPC, Social Media, Email, Display, and Affiliates.
  • Identify trends, opportunities, and issues, providing actionable recommendations.
  • Develop dashboards and reports to track KPIs and present findings.
  • Conduct audience segmentation analysis for targeted strategies.
  • Perform A/B and multivariate testing to improve conversions.
  • Analyze website traffic and user journeys using tools like Google Analytics.
  • Collaborate with channel managers for data interpretation and campaign adjustments.
  • Design and deploy complex email workflows within Adobe Campaign.
  • Manage customer segmentation and execute A/B tests on email campaigns.
  • Monitor email performance metrics and optimize accordingly.
  • Troubleshoot email delivery or data issues within Adobe Campaign.
  • Ensure compliance with POPIA and data privacy laws.
  • Coordinate with content creators to ensure email assets are correctly integrated.
  • Support content updates using content briefs and CMS Rhythmyx.
  • Present digital marketing insights and develop reports for leadership.
Skills and Competencies
  • Proficiency in Google Analytics 4 and other analytics tools like Search Console, SEMrush, Ahrefs.
  • Strong analytical skills to interpret data and identify trends.
  • Proficient in Excel/Google Sheets and PowerPoint/Slides for reporting.
  • Knowledge of A/B testing methodologies.
  • Understanding of digital marketing channels and metrics.
  • Excellent communication skills to explain complex data.
  • Proactive and able to work independently or in a team.
  • Knowledge of POPIA and data privacy best practices.
Qualifications & Experience
  • Matric (Grade 12)
  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Advertising, or related field
  • Project management skills
  • 2-4 years of experience in digital marketing analysis roles
  • Hands-on experience with email workflows and segmentation, preferably in Adobe Campaign
Desirable Skills
