Job Description
We are a fast-growing door supply and installation company specializing in timber, metal, and composite doorsfor commercial, residential, and industrial projects. We are seeking an experienced and proactive Project Manager to lead and manage end-to-end project delivery, from planning through to execution and handover.
The ideal candidate has strong coordination skills, technical knowledge of door systems, and the ability to work with multiple stakeholders including consultants, main contractors, site teams, and suppliers.
Key Responsibilities
• Lead and manage multiple door supply and install projects simultaneously, ensuring timely and quality completion.
• Coordinate with clients, consultants, main contractors, and internal teams on project timelines, technical drawings, approvals, and site logistics.
• Interpret architectural drawings, project specifications, and ensure correct implementation of door schedules, hardware, and fire-rated requirements.
• Monitor site progress, resolve issues, and report updates to management and stakeholders.
• Supervise site installation works, ensuring safety, quality, and compliance with BCA, SCDF, and project standards.
• Work closely with drafting, procurement, and production teams to ensure timely material readiness.
• Manage subcontractors and installation teams, ensuring performance meets company expectations.
• Prepare and submit necessary documentation including work progress reports, inspection checklists, and handover records.
• Ensure adherence to project budgets and cost controls.
Requirements
• Diploma or Degree in Construction Management, Building Services, Architecture, Engineering or a related field.
• Minimum 3 to 5 years of relevant experience, preferably in doors, interior fit-out, or architectural metal works.
• Solid understanding of fire-rated doors, hardware schedules, installation tolerances, and local codes (BCA/SCDF).
• Strong leadership and coordination skills with the ability to manage multiple stakeholders and subcontractors.
• Proficient in reading technical drawings and Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Project); AutoCAD knowledge is an advantage.
• Able to work independently, solve problems on-site, and meet deadlines under pressure.
• Good interpersonal and communication skills in English (other languages a plus).
• Possess own transport is an advantage (for multi-site management).
