Job summary
A leading company in funeral services is seeking compassionate individuals for roles involving the collection, transportation, and preparation of the deceased. Key tasks include assisting families during funeral processes and ensuring smooth proceedings. Required qualifications include a driving license and physical stamina to handle various duties related to the role.
Qualifications
- Possess Class 3 / 3A driving license.
- Comfortable handling joss sticks and working with the deceased.
- Able to lift heavy weights (up to 25kg) and perform physical work.
Responsibilities
- Collection and transportation of deceased.
- Assisting during funeral rites and maintaining tidiness of vehicles.
- Loading and unloading of heavy items.
Skills
Working location: Gambas Crescent
Working hours: 8am to 6pm (every 5 days off 1 day)
Salary: $2500 + VB + Year End bonus + Sales bonuses (Gross salary: $3000 to $4000 on average)
Weekends and PH standby out of office if on shift
JOB DESCRIPTION
- Collection and transportation of deceased
- Preparation of coffin and encoffining
- Loading and unloading of heavy items / coffins
- Performing a variety of tasks during the funeral process, such as providing assistance during funeral rites, closing of casket, guiding the bereaved family etc.
- Driving of funeral hearse
- Assist funeral advisors during the funeral process to ensure smooth proceedings
- Maintaining tidiness of company vehicles and premises
- Other ad hoc tasks as required
JOB REQUIREMENTS
- Possess Class 3 / 3A driving license
- Able to lift heavy weight (up to 25kg) and perform physical work
- Computer literate
- Able to do shift work and work overtime when needed
- Candidates should be comfortable with holding joss sticks, close contact with the deceased etc.
- Ability to show compassion when dealing with bereaved families
